Period: 9 (Section A: 1, 2, 3)
I. Objectives: 
 	1, Knowledge: Helps Ss to know how to offer somebody something and accept or refure an offer
2, Skill: Listen and talk fluently
3, Attitude: Love English and know the name of some fruits
II. Language focus:
* Vacabulary: would/can, ice cream, apple, candy, banana, milk.
* Grammar: Would you like an apple?	
 Yes, please / No, thanks.
III. Teaching aids: 
T Radio and cassette, words card

IV. Procedure:
	1. Stabilize class:
	2. Oral test: Calls some pairs to make a dialoge (congratulate on someone's birthday; thank and respond to thanks and apologize). Others listen and remark. T. ramarks.
	3. New lesson:
	* Warm up: Says the objectives of the period
	* Presentation:
 1. Look, listen and repeat:
- T asks Ss to look at the picture and remark. (Who are they? Where are they? What are they talking?)
- Ss look and remark in Vietnamese/ English.
- T opens the cassette. Ss look, listen and find out new words.
 *New words: 
 ice cream, apple, candy, banana, milk.
 * Model sentences: 
Would you like some milk? (Dùng khi mời ai cái gì)
 Yes, please.
 Here you are.
- T explains and guides them to read new words.
- Ss listen and repeat in chorus.
- T opens the cassette again. Ss listen and repeat in chorus. Then read the dialogue in pairs.
- T calls some pairs to read the dialogue and others remark.
- Ss read the dialogue in pairs. 
 2. Look and say:
- T explains how to use the model sentences. 
-Ss listen to the teacher's explaination.
-T introduces model sentence again and giudes them to practice the model sentence. 
-Ss listen and repeat in chorus then do pair-work.
- T asks Ss to work in groups then calls some groups to practice.
- Ss work in groups freely then before class. Others listen and remark.

 3. Let's talk:
- T asks Ss to say task of the exercise. 
-Ss say task of the exercise in Vietnamese.
- T asks Ss to work in pairs offering somebody something and accepting or refusing an offer.
- T asks Ss to work in pairs then calls some pairs to practice.
- Ss work in pairs freely then before class. Others listen and remark. 
 S1: would you like an ice cream?

-T corrects if nescessary.
 4. Consolidation: 
-T says the main knowledge of the lesson again.

1, Knowledge: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to write about offering Smb Smth and accepting or refusing an offer.
2, Skill: Listen and write fluently
3, Attitude: Love English and know the name of some fruits
II. Language focus:
	* Phonetics: apple/candy; please/cream; like/milk
	* Grammar: Would you like.............?
	 (Please, give me some more)
III. Teaching aids: 
	1, T words card 
	2, Ss
IV. Procedure:
	1. Stabilize class:
2. Oral test: Calls some pairs to practice talking (...............) offering Smb Smth and accepting or refusing an offer..... Others listen and remark. T. remarks if nescessary.
	3. New lesson:
	* Warm up: Says the objectives of the period. 
	* Presentation:
 4. Listen and check:
- T. asks Ss to look at the pictures and remark.
- Ss look and remark in Vietnamese (distinguish the similaity and the difference between them)
- T. shows Ss how to tick. Ss listen to the teacher.
- T. opens the cassette. Ss look, listen and tick to the pictures that they hear.
- T. calls some Ss to say answer key and others remark.
 *Answer key: 1b; 2b
- T. opens the cassette again. Ss listen and check
-T. corrects if nescessary.
 5. Say it right:
- Ss identify the letters by the colours: a; ea, ke (k)

- T. opens the cassette. Ss look, listen and repeat in chorus.
- T. asks Ss to read in pairs then calls some Ss to read. Ss practice reading in pairs then individually.
- T. remarks and corrects their pronunciation.
 6. Let's write:
- T. shows Ss how to complete the gaps. Ss listen
- T. asks Ss to discuss about the gaps in the uncompleted sentences. Ss discuss in pairs, then complete the sentences individually.
- T. calls 2 Ss to write their sentences on the board. Others remark.
 1. Would you like a banana?
 2. Yes, please/ No, thanks.
-T. corrects if nescessary.
- T. asks the class read the completed sentences again in chorus.
 7. Read aloud:
- T. asks Ss to read the poem in skim and shows new phrases/ model sentences. Helps them to explains if nescessary.
- Ss read the poem in skim and find new phrases/model sentences. Listen to the teacher's explaination.
Model sentence:
 Please, give me some more
 Singular and plural nouns: one apple; two apples.....
- T. opens the cassette. Ss listen to the tape and repeat in chorus. (Rhythm, stress, intonation...).
- T. asks Ss to read the poem in pairs. Ss work in pairs. 
- T. calls some Ss to read the poem before class. Others listen and remark. 
	4. Consolidation: 
 -T. says the main knowledge of the lesson again.

	5. Homework: Do exercises: 4, 5, 6 (P24, 25).

IV. Procedure:

	2, Oral test: Calls 2 Ss to write the model sentence to ask and answer ........................ . Others remark. T. remarks. 
	3, New lesson:

	* Presentation:

	* Grammar: I/She/He can/can't swim.
	Would you like an apple? - Yes, please/ No, thanks.
	Can you swim? - Yes, I can/No, I can't.
III. Teaching aids:

IV. Procedure:
1, Stabilize class:

	3, New lesson:
	* Warm up: Says the objectives of the period
	* Presentation-Practice
 4. Read and complete:
- T asks Ss to look at the picture and remark. 
-Ss look and remark.
- T asks Ss to discuss in groups about the given situation (3 minutes). 
-Ss discuss in groups as the teacher shows then practice individually. (read the passage and answer the questions)
- T calls some pairs to ask and answer the questions before class. Others listen and remark. 
 *Answer:

T corrects the wrong ones if nescessary.
